In early February, Birdman's Cash Money Records announced the signing of 90s-early 00s rock band, Limp Bizkit. After a single was promised but never came to fruition, six months later the group's front man says the group is done. "In 2000, there were 35 million people who connected to this band. Twelve years later, lots of those people have moved on. We were a moment in time and it's over," Fred Durst told Kerrang! magazine.

"We've boycotted America for many years now...The reason? We just don't know what's going on in America. It's all about the new catchy thing and that's always changing. America is driven by record sales. It's the home of corporations. We're just Limp Bizkit, so we don't know how to do anything but Limp Bizkit."

"When the opportunity came, we really was supposed to announce it at the Grammys. Wayne was going to announce it at the Grammys, but he did it when he felt like it," Birdman told XXL a few months ago when speaking on the signing. "

No word on if Durst's band is still on the label, but for now it doesn't seem like we'll get to hear much from the "Nookie" rockers.

Cash money and Badboy destroy careers and steal royalties. lmao Youd think people that were in the industry prior to signing to CM would have enough smarts to know this. guess not.

How can you say you're "boycotting america" because it's about what's popular and record sales but in the same article say you're quitting because you don't have 35 million fans anymore? !! out of here
