Awhile back VIBE interviewed 50 Cent during the SMS Audio release party and they finally decided to release more footage of the interview. In this video 50 Cent speaks on why he doesn't want to produce music, I've always wondered why he hasn't attempted it since he's always attempting anything he wants, but he has a good point as to why he doesn't want to produce.

What is he talking about? If someone sings off key or in the wrong tone on a beat the producer should be the first one to take notice and tell the artist to change that.

my dude 50 came to shreveport a couple years back for 30gs.............. I mean its good money but for somebody out 50 status its really not saying much. Hell webbie charge 12-15gs........ unless he was giving bay bay one hell of a discount[pic][pic]

and what proof do you have he only charged 30k?

now tell me how 30k a show means its not working for him?

i dont have receipts *insertwhitneygif* but the party was for my cousin and dj hollywood bay bay. Bay Bay had the connections so he set everything up. My cousin and bay bay split the cost 15gs each. You can see the party on Youtube tho. idk how to upload pics/vids on here. But i wasnt saying 30 gs aint !!, what im saying is with 50s name, one would expect him to be doing shows for 100,000gs+. 30 is falling waaaaaay the !! off like he has done. im not hating on homie im just saying, he a couple gs more than WEBBIE for a show and webbie never had the magnitude of a career 50 had. Thats a L

I've actually booked majors before...and i've put a few threads up on here over the years showing pictures from some of the parties we've thrown....I can look him up right now and tell you his deposit isnt even 30 grand.

They more than likely paid him 30 grand, plus a deposit, and he got a percentage off the drinks/door and so on.

And for the record I recently booked a Louisiana artist and his entire entourage for 20 grand total. No way Webbie pulling "12-15 a show" is hilarious.

Hell we did Bruno Mars/B.O.B. for 110 Grand Total last summer.
