Curtis Jackson has just inked a $200 million 10-movie deal for his film company, Cheetah Vision. Curtis will be funded a budget of $20 million for each film, which will be distributed through Grindstone/Lionsgate. Above is a picture on the set of The Fast and Furious 5 with actor Paul Walker, who is in negotiations to star alongside 50 in his upcoming flick, Set Up. 'Set Up' revolves around a group of friends involved in a diamond heist that takes a deadly turn. "The thing about '50 Cent' is that, just like in his music career, he isn't someone who sits around and waits for things to get done. He came to me and said, 'How do we move quicker on projects?' With this new fund, we are able to do that. It's very hard to raise equity today and we are lucky to have such great partners, including the amazing team of Barry Brooker and Stan Wertlieb of Grindstone and Joe Drake and Helen Kim at Lionsgate," Emmett told Variety. Under the deal, the films will have a budget of around $20 million dollars each. Fif and Richard Jackson have also teamed with Emmet and Furla's, Emmet/Furla films, for the movie 'Catch 44', which stars Bruce Willis, Forest Whitaker and Malin Ackerman, 50's taking over the big screen, keep it locked here for more news as it becomes available. http://www.thisis50.com/profiles/blo...h-vision-films |

| Could be the start of big things if his company is successful, doubt he personally will get much of this but could set him self up for bigger deals in the future On a sidenote, his films tend to suck, hope this works out for him though | |

| Personally, his films aren't all that bad to me. They just always seem low-budget but now with this new funding that shouldn't be a problem now that he can afford professional actors, better sets, etc. which I'm sure was his plan when he 1st started doing the straight to DVD movies. He's literally a monster in the business world right now and he doing it in a way that Jay & Diddy could never do (no disrespect to them) cause they got to talk to the right people in the right way to keep climbing that chain while 50 just sit and watch everybody else's move while he setting up his own then he acts. | |
