Ramon Martins is an innovator. The Brazilian painter and street artist works both on the streets and in galleries using an eclectic amount of styles and mediums. His influences vary from cartoons and figurative art to comic books and Japanese culture, merging all of these elements to creating psychedelic works reminiscent of the 70′s FILLMORE and AVALON POSTER COLLECTION .

“I don’t allow a linear method of production; I respect outages and intervals as the work demands. I love the creative process, the trials and challenges that each job presents,” he says. “My influences are linked to how we adapt to situations, how we respond to them. We all have our energy and it comes out in our actions.”
Ramon Martins invites you to be part of his vibrantly colored chaotic world.

RWJR is a contemporary painter who creates works using a wide variety of subjects and styles. For him, art is all about “following your bliss.” He’s amazed by the ability art has to “effect people both in a positive and in a negative way. The fact that we feel these emotions is what makes art,” he says. “My hope is that I inspire others to follow their bliss and along the way people might connect with my artwork.”

RWJR uses stylized lines along with vivid colors and humor in his works to convey powerful messages. His work is reminiscent of Jean-Michel Basquiat, CY Twombly, Jean Dubuffet and the Neo-Expressionist movement.
