Street Art: C215, The Messenger from the Streets

Christian Guémy is a French street artist from Paris. Often described as “the French answer to Banksy,” C215 produces mostly close-up portraits of people. His aim is to draw attention to the forgotten memembers of our society: beggars and homeless people.



For him, “graffiti consists on leaving tracks behind you, so I never go somewhere to paint but I paint wherever I go… It’s completely different.”

C215′s work is often small. “I am not trying to shock anyone,” he says.
