| Man niccas don't tip... of course there are exceptions to the rule (like myself and others) but I'd say 5/10 either don't tip or tip poorly. | |

| Stereotypes are true because some people live up to it. That is all. | |

| It is true as I use to work at the airport, doing servicing jobs. White people would tip at least $5 minimum. Black people, not at all or a little... with that many people didn't want the black customers, even black folks. You have to have the experience to understand. | |

| tipping goes a long way. People will bend over backwards for you if you tip well enough. For example if you're at a bar and don't tip after your first drink, expect the bartender to take a good 10 minutes to ask you for your order the next time you go there. Why go thru the aggravation of waiting, just tip. If you go to the venue on a regular basis the bartender will more than likely greet you with a smile and handshake as soon as you step to the bar. Plus it makes you look and feel like a VIP. Stop being cheap! | |

I did service for a bit too, delivery, and the black dudes would never tip. There were some whites that didn't tip too, or gave me pennies and nickels and !! on some disrespectful !!, but not one black dude ever tipped me. Although I did have way more white and hispanic customers than black customers. But I'm white, so you guys are saying black folks don't even tip other black folks? That's cold [pic] I could see if I'm white, and there was a racial element to it on some, "White people had black slaves, so !! you" type !!. But not even tipping other black people is pretty wack. I never got the people who don't tip. Do they not realize the person working and serving them is making WAY below minimum wage hourly? Real !!, their usually making like $4.00 an hour. Tips are the only way they can make any money. The whole system is set up to make servers nice to customers so they can get tipped and make money, otherwise is servers got paid 9 an hour and !! like regular jobs they would care less about customers and just act however they wanted. | ||

| When I'm out I try to tip unreasonably well and it's usually my white co-workers that try to give the waitress like $1-3 on a $30 bill. I usually try to give $5 or whatever I can. However, alot of times I don't tip because I didn't know I'm supposed to, I was on travel for like 10 months straight and every city I had to take a cab to the hotel. Had no idea until like 7 months in I was supposed to tip cab drivers. $45 to go 6 miles and they want a tip? | |

| I don't like tipping. So I just get carry out to avoid tipping. I do tip if I am with friends at a sit down est@blishment. I understand that waiters/waitresses make !! wages and how their industry works. | |

| i tip $1.00 for every $5.00 on the bill and just round up or down depending how well the service was. So if the bill was $23 i'd tip 5. it's either 20% or a little bit over. also, most people don't realize it, but tipping does have its advantages. One being faster service next time you go to a place and the other being some free perks. I remember going to PF Changs a lot with my girlfriend and the waiter that served us before would just send any wrong orders from other tables to our tables. We would get to try out new items and sometimes they'd give us free dessert. You hook people up and they'll hook you up. | |
