The eggs are cleaned twice before getting to a processing plant for a third cleaning before being shipped to stores. At least in the few farms I've visited in Wisconsin. Then, anything that remains is in the yolk/egg. You're going to eat it anyway so why do people keep spreading this dumbass nonsense? I wash my hands after cracking all the eggs but I don't do it after every single egg. It's simply not necessary.
