Mighty Tanaka, a Brooklyn-based gallery showing art that’s “of the now,” present the works of stencil artists Chris Stain and Joe Iurato. It’s the first time these two artists, who are highly influenced by each others work, will be shown together and united, they make quite the duo. Deep in the Cut provides an identifiable approach to works that, much like street art, are full of thoughtful social statements, adding to the natural beauty of the intricate stencil art. The exhibit opens tonight with a reception from 6-9pm. If you can’t make it this evening, catch the show before it closes on September 7th.
