The cop kept his cool, gotta give him props. Also props for the dude for not being a complete idiot and cooperating with the police. Know your rights, kid. You don't need to be a Law student, just get your !! straight if you cross ways with the Police. So many times have people said the wrong thing and got in trouble...

Know all the laws you want but, can you imagine if this wasn't on a busy street, at night time, getting stop by one of those cops in the hood?... They woulda beat the living !! out of him

You see somebody walking down the street with a gun you're not going to think he should have it. A cop can't just go by someones word. The guys being a prick to a cop who's just trying to do his job. I'm not sure what this guys is trying to prove.

I'm all for people protecting themselves but this was just ridiculous.. just shut the !! up and show him your i.d. People are calling in concerned about YOU walking around with a gun.. show that you have the right to walk around with it and be on your way. Dude just wanted hits on Youtube. He probably feels great about himself and is going to show off to everyone in his class about what he did and show his parents that the 100,000 a year school he goes to is worth it now because he could walk around with a gun. If he was in New York the cops would have said "yes you may be a felon now hand over your i.d" if you say no.. get beat the !! up and have the i.d taken from you.

Carrying a gun and wielding it recklessly are two different things, but since the clip only shows a fraction of what really happened then there's really nothing to be said other than he knew his rights by case decisions and the cop showed serious restraint compared to other cop vids posted on here.

I hope someone shoots this nicca for real. Walking around for no reason with an exposed gun, somebody should shoot this nicca, then take out the dude's gun and place it in his hands and claim self defense.
