Obama isn't the reason Christianity has left this country. Or why there's gay rights. Or why it's cool to be Gay or not to believe in God.

However, You people nee to chill on making it seem like it's lame and stupid to be a Christian and believe in God. I know some of you are closet Christians and just don't want to be looked down upon for believing in God so in the face of everybody else, you act like it's stupid to believe in God...

It is stupid and lame....the true meaning of the religion has been hi jacked anyway........it's used as a shield to cover up hatred and distaste these days more then unity and love for those who are diversed and different.....plus a lot of Christians are self proclaimed !!s who think Jesus wants them to be that way for his love......

While I do agree that you should stand up for what you believe in, and yes I believe in god, punching someone in the face because they dont believe in what you believe in is not very religious like and it futher drives people away from religion and earns believers labels like "Jesus Freaks".

it's not lame. Both sides who believe and don't believe though are lame if you try and force it on people.

I'm not religious, but I'll say the people who don't believe in God and constantly argue about it are just as bad as the people who do.

Everyone should just believe in whatever they !! they want and not try and persuade other people one way or the other.

They're scared because they don't want to be judged for their believes. I'm openly Christian but I've had people call my beliefs stupid for believing in about a man in the sky, and I've also had people judge me that were Christian for not going to church, the irony of that is out of this world.

Now I don't want to get preachy about religion but the core values of it have been lost, to be religious they say you have to practice religion, and in doing so you have to go to church weekly (a place where it's more of a popularity contest than a religious gathering). When you break it down the basis of religion is to respect others, and wish them well. Yet it's always the negative (demons and hell) that people want to focus on. The picture in the OP is proof of this.
