But no, I don't think this was excessive force either. I'd need to see what happened before it before I say it is. In addition to that, when you're in an atmosphere like that (at a club, outnumbered by a lot, around people that might have been drinking and are possibly amped up) you have to take swift action and diffuse the situation.
