Ants, butter and margarine (pic)

Here's an interesting photo. The bright yellow stuff being ignored by the ants is margarine, and the pale yellow stuff with ants all over it is butter, a natural food. Do the ants know something we don't?

the butters sugar content might speak to the ants preference to it, but what is the explanation for the ants dying from eating the margarine?

to the best of my knowledge, isnt margarine just oil thats been hydrogenated to become a solid?

margarine contains trans fat which scars are arteries massivley and leads to heart disease.i imagine ants wouldnt be able to digest margarine

i dont see y margarine is necessarily bad just bc ants dont eat it. Most dogs dont eat raw vegetables, does make them bad tho [pic]

With that said, I dont fk wit margarine anyways.

They might have drowned in the margarine .
