| Toys was better for kids in the 90's for the same reason video games, and cartoons were. They weren't trying to trick kids into learning or exercising back then. Took my nephew to the toy store the other day. Every toy and video game has some secret learning or exercise agenda these days. Same with cartoons. Turn on the TV on a Saturday morning and every cartoon character is a fruit or a vegetable or some !! and they all trying to teach you something or get you to exercise. When we were growing up it was up to parents to be parents. Not TV or Toy companies. Their purpose was strictly fun and entertainment. Thats why everything sucks these days. /Rant | |
