this is a completely true statement. it was just worded funny. look @ it this way...alcohol was illegal in the united states during the 1930's, and by the end of that decade it became legal. slavery was legal so it was deemed as "morally correct" (for lack of better words) in the u.s. during the 1700's and 1800's. when it became outlawed, it became some black market !! up until the early 1900's. horrible analogy, but you should get my point. probably all the presidents, up until lincoln, owned slaves. | ||
