Twisted Metal [PS3][2012]

Twisted Metal (sometimes referred to as "Twisted Metal PS3") is a 2012 vehicle combat video game developed by Eat Sleep Play and published by Sony Computer Entertainment exclusively for the PlayStation 3 game console. It is the eighth installment in the series. The game was released on February 14th, 2012 (Valentine's Day). It was originally set for release on October 4th, 2011 but was pushed back in order to fine tune and polish the game. The game is rated M for Mature by the ESRB due to the graphic nature of the cut scenes and harsh language. David Jaffe, the head designer of this game targeted the T rating for the game, but decided to embrace the M rating.

Personally I like the hell out of this game. I didn't like the battle races at first, but I can run thru them now pretty easily. The cutscenes in the story mode are done well. Story could have had another character in it, but that's possibly my biggest complaint now. The controls are great once you master them. Online is fun.... now that it works. It has for me anyways, and it's fun as hell blast people online. Going with a 9 because I enjoy it alot, and will end up dumping 100 hours+ into this game to platinum it. I wish they would drop some DLC.

The story mode is a bit short and some levels are downright frustrating but overall it's a fun, action packed campaign with tons of new challenges and game modes. The real seller is the online play though. The new game modes are a lot of fun and I'm addicted. Matchmaking takes a while and I have noticed some glitches but with a patch and some DLC in the future, this could easily be my favorite PS3 game since Red Dead Redemption.

I keep !!in getting k!lled in story mode. Its like everyone comes after me. if it wasn't for that, its a good 8 out of 10. over time i hope this will improve......

Great game high replay value

Over time you will improve. The game gets easier the more you play. I just beat the whole campaign without dying or using the garage for the TMA gold trophy so the game is somewhat fair once you master the mechanics.

controls suck to me

just got game today used to love this !! as a kid, after i got used to the controls im feeling it, cutscenes are bad as hell, i gave it a 9 and i havent even played online yet

this game is really great once you get the hang of the controls. I still dislike the [rip] races....I stay missin checkpoints left & right sometimes [pic]

It controls great once you put some time in. I beat it on Twisted difficulty with all golds, and that !! was tough as hell. Iron Maiden is a chick.

Juggernaut is a beast in single player. He does 75+ ram damage. Warthog is the !! online. His crushing tank ram does 60+ damage. The laser pistol sucks balls tho. Should have gotten something better than that for beating it on twisted. Warthog made up for it tho.

Game is great. The controls are great. Responsive, effective, and you can do a lot at once without losing control.



Gonna platinum the !! out of this once school starts.
