Max Payne 3 is the third installment in Rockstar Games Max Payne series and is set eight years after the events of the last installment. No longer a cop, Max is close to washed-up, drunk and addicted to painkillers. Without a job on the force, Max has left the greater New York area, and finds himself in Sao Paulo, Brazil, working as private security. The story of Max's descent from vengeful, leather-jacket wearing detective roaming the alleys of New York to the broken, shaven-headed man out for justice on unfamiliar streets far from home is at the center of Max Payne 3. In addition to Max's classic shoot-dodge moves, there is now a combination of Natural Motion's Euphoria character behavior system and Bullet Time to enhance his moves. Partners and sidekicks will play a large role in this game to help Max in his quest for vengeance.

I give this a 9/10 for night based on the gameplay and fun factor but the story could have been much longer perhaps like Uncharted 3.

this game is amazing. im about 5 hours into the story now..ill give it a 9. only thing that pisses me off is that no matter how hard i go on these Brazilian thugs...im always 1 step behind of them mutha!!as [pic][pic]

the multiplayer is fun, thought the story started slow but it really starts pickin up around chapter 4- game is dope.

I give it 9.5/10. 1st off the .5 points off is due to the fact the story is only about 12 hrs. but even though the story is short it comes with plenty difficulty levels and collectables throughout the levels giving it a very high replay factor. just like GTA 4 some of the situations and cutscenes in the game have different recordings adding even more to the replay value. the story is great and the presentation, camera angles, and voice acting is STUPENDOUS! rockstar kept that same formula that we all know and love in this edition of Max Payne. good old fashion bullet time and shootdodging updated to be just right. your enemies are as smart as a whip, finding ways to flank you and maneuver upon your position like a human being and not a cpu. its a hard game even on the easier difficulties. the sheer amount of guns is stagering from ak-47s to FALs to mac-10s to 1911 pistols youll never run out of options. the online, you could tell, was a main focus when they did this project. the multiplayer is set up similar to gta 4's and RDR's but obviously much more fleshed out. very balanced and i havent seen any cheating or glitching yet. it takes a little while to level up and earn more stuff so multiplayer will keep you playing for a good while. glad to see Rockstar has done it once again. We've waited almost a decade for a new Max Payne and unlike MVC3 this decade wait was well worth it.

I give it a 9. Wish i could do 8.5. Its fun but it has way too many cut scenes

I'm only through chapter 6 and think the game is amazing.

that ish was kinda k!llin me too, even worse on a second playthrough, u can skip thru some but not all of em, annoying as !!.

just beat it...was !!ing amazing, a lot better than 99% of the movies out there...great scenario, great "acting", first time in my whole life as a gamer i watched all the cut scenes and gave a !! about...dopeness, as usual...

When is this !! leaking for the PC...I can't wait anymore [pic]

Play Street Fighter X Tekken for PC in the mean time :P

pretty cool actually...but a of lags/disconnections/unability to join friends/freezing tho...

solid 8.....if it was free roam like GTA then i would have gave it a 9.

i give it a 8 about halfway thru single player its a good game just think multiplayer is boring

Feel the same way...it's something about MP that just doesn't sit right with me. It has the traditional Max Payne feel...I guess I was hoping for something similar to GTA. But yea a solid 8.
