Logo Drop - UnderDog Locks

 Logo Drop - UnderDog Locks
By mduncan06 - 12-08-2011, 12:18 PM - Boxden > The Gallery

Need feed on logos created...Just started designing...and this is one of the first logos I came up with for a client in Nevada. I can't decide on the better one. My preference is the logo on the shirt.

Any feedback is appreciated. Looking for tips to get better.
Thanks

I have 0 graphic design background so my opinion may be the most valuable. May need to emphasize the 'L' more. looks like UnderdoGLOCKS. you making guns too?

I'd say the color change of 'LOCKS" does a good job of separating the two.

Looks really good and clean, but on the one with the Lock as the "O", looks like it it says GLOCKS not LOCKS.

Either there should be a small space to separate Underdog and Locks or you should change the color of "Under" as well. That way it reads as Under Dog Locks.

Right now it looks confusing because Underdog is 3 letters longer than Locks. Even though it's one word, I think a color difference would solve the problem.

I also like the one w/ the dog illustration. "www" isn't needed on site address and should probably be omitted, but if you must have it on there, there should be even spacing on the placement of the site between the R and K. The "w" is too close to the R. Also my omitting the "www" you can up the size of the site address so that it doesn't get lost when you shrink the logo.
