Losing to Saban would be the worst loss. Please don't let that happen Miles!

I dont know about the glory days, but its good to be respected once again. Alabama look solid last night especially inthe first half of that Arkansas game. Every team knows our weakness is "Depth on Defense", thats why Arkansas ran the ball 20+ times in a row. Its like you know what they going to do, but you cant stop it cuz you catch your breath.. So you cant be mad at the defense for letting Arkansas back into the game last night. Because 2 quick turnovers on offense by JP Wilson, and our defense is right back out there trying to contain McFadden & Jones.. Im sure Saban will preach protecting the ball and making smart decisions onthe field, because that !! almost cost us the game last night..

We have Georgia next at home, Should be another exciting game none ofthe less. No matter what Georgia's record is, I expect GA to bring their "A" game into T-town this weekend. Not only is our names onthe back of those jerseys but its also an X back there. Aint nothing to a boss though

RTR !!es!!!!

yea them 2 turnovers k!lled us. the 'D' was straight murkin' McFadden & Jones in the 1st half. just wore down in the 2nd. Mustin goin down hurt us too, we need him. Tho, it was good to see Prince Hall back playing and he made a few tackles. McClain & Hall teaming up on the inside could be crazy. thats one of the those games we needed, badly. we haven't been able to enjoy something like that in years and it really feels like the Bama of old is back. i honestly haven't been this excited since #37 (you know who) was back there in the backfield for us. and that was the 1st come from behind 4th QTR rally we've had since 2001, wow. the schedule aint gone get no easier from hear on out either. Araknsas, Georgia, and Florida State in back-to-back-to-back weeks is rough.

and to the haters (yall know who u are, *cough* Auburn *cough*) we back and yall gotta face that !!, !!es. ROLL TIDE ROLL!

I dont really go by records to be honest with you, cuz anybody can loose on any given saturday. I think the game will be close, Its not like we play each other every year. So I believe both teams will show up for this game, just cause we never played you guys, and if we have its probably before i was born

I was thinking the same thing, Now if this game was in our house, i would say advantage us, but its in Jacksonville. Eventhough we travel good with the team, I see think that Atmosphere will have us come out flat, Hopefully Im wrong, and Saban will have them boys ready to play and send his Old OC home with a "L"

Whitlock Makes Official Visit To Alabama

Alabama scored an exciting win over Arkansas Saturday in Tuscaloosa and Chester ATH Charles Whitlock (5-11 175) was there as part of his official visit. "It was great," Whitlock said Sunday night just after returning home. "The environment, they love their football there, man. As I was walking into the game, they had fans who were chanting my name. It felt great there. The campus and facilities are nice. I talked with coach Saban before I left. He told me if I come there, outside of football, he'll make sure I develop myself as a better person off the field." Whitlock said Alabama is recruiting him as a cornerback. He will make all of his visits before deciding. He is scheduled to visit USC November 9th and Florida November 23rd. He will set visits with Clemson and North Carolina. Whitlock said he does not have a favorite.

Would be a nice pick up for the Tide, Other Recruits such as Julio Jones, Jerell Harris, William Green, Antoine McClain seem like all enjoyed themsel and was very much into the game. Hopefully they like what they saw Saturday and pull the trigger and commit...

FYI i heard from someone else, during pregame warmups DJ went to the sidelines and "Dapp Up" (Handshake) Julio Jones and they spoke for a couple of minutes, Seems like their real good friends maybe Julio can pick up where DJ left off...
