If we scored runs like last year it wouldn't matter. Even with good pitching 1 run a game isn't going to get anything done

yea thats true, but I have more confidence that our batting will improve whereas I'm not so confident in our starting pitching..

we are[..] right now...honestly beltran is batting like .390 and has 14 rbi's....what does that say about the rest of our offense....id like to get castillo back soon and try out the original batting order again reyes, murphy, wright, beltran, delgado, church, santos, castillo.....that should be our best bet

offense hasn't been the problem in the last few games its been the bullpen

time to make Murphy leadoff hitter? he has been the only igniter for us i think its time to move Jose down in the line up hes been big in us collapsing because he struggles in september.

I said a while ago they should've made murphy the leadoff hitter,him giving us leadoff hr's could probably get the rest of the offense going right now reyes is playing like !! put him 2nd and i think they should've given niese a chance to replace ollie

i almost puked when delgado dropped that ball. and church better get in the batting cage pronto, he is such a great player he needs to get that bat going to prove it!

Doing decent now. Johan continues to pitch amazing games and we continue to score no runs for him.

In minor news
Reese Havens our 2nd 1st round draft pick last year behind Ike Davis is raking in A+ he now has 6 HRs for the season another prospect for us Guzman has 4 HRs and is batting pretty close to .300 as well expect them to move to AA sometime this season. Josh Thole is still learning defense in AA batting close to .360 expect him to be moved to AAA to help that team out later on in the season unless the AA team makes the playoffs when Havens moves up.
