Hitting pitchers aren't bad, Red Sox pitching is batting 294 with 2 RBIs and a 350 OBP.

Maybe if we are lucky Lester can play 3rd and Dice CF when those injuries appear. Beckett can DH since his injury is 'suckingass'.

another big win tonight...even without Pedroia and Vic and Ellsbury we're still playing real well....i had some doubts about this team possibly making it to the World Series, but I dont find it as hard to believe anymore with the way they've been playing. I'm not saying they are going to get there, but saying it wont be as ridiculous if we do...hope we can make it happen

The Yankees have not played their best ball yet either, without a move I see them winning the division but in the post season I am not worried a bit.

Yanks are getting old, i love every second of it. But I agree theystill havent played their best yet...ARod still not hitting as wel as he usualy does, Tex starting to get better, and I cant see Cano remaining this amazing all year, but who knows. I just hope they dont add Cliff Lee.

btw i couldn't help but notice beltre almost taking out tek on a pop up and it got me to wondering what can they teach these guys to prevent this from happening again. (beltre has already hurt ells and hermida on pop ups) i know you're supposed to call your teammate off but if both guys are looking up and saying i got it, what do you tell guys to keep them from smashing into each other? shouldn't a 3rd guy call out the name of the guy who should catch it signaling the other to back off? one way or the other the sox need to figure it out cause it's getting ridiculous

Dice-K is the most inconsistent player in the Majors...This guy can be lights out for a stretch, then absolutely sucks[..]. Walking the bases loaded in the 1st? [pic] Guy 1 hit the Phillies a few weeks ago

Dice K isn't inconsistent. He consistently nibbles at the !!ing edges of the strike zone. He's consistently afraid to throw strikes. He's consistently throwing 100 pitches through 5 innings. He needs to take his sorry[..] back to Japan

They say he has allowed around half of his runs in the first inning, so he is starting games trying to be fine with his pitches, and as Rice said he needs to go out there and be aggressive, that is how he pitches well later in the innings.

He has great stuff, I had this same issue in The Show and when I speed his delivery he has pitched the best on the whole staff believe it or not, he needs to be aggressive in reality.

Him and Papelbon need to train each other to switch styles, one pitches like a closer and the other like a starter.
