why am i still getting froyo 2.2 update notification???

i already rooted my Epic 4g and downloaded the 2.2 rom when it leaked, but for the last few months i been getting the "mr4 ec05 system update" notification daily.......

It might be cause its the leaked version they might have changed it abit. Or it could be do to this being a new update like a ex. 2.2.3 froyo update.

Because it's trying to update you to Gingerbread. You need to update to official Froyo in order to get the OTA to official Gingerbread. Once you update you should receive another notification for 2.3.

unrooted my phone....put the stock froyo on......updated to Gingerbread......im good

but now how the fukk do you root gingerbread, i want to flash a new rom

Flash a stock ROM that's pre-rooted.
