Ok i'm finally gonna make the switch to Android

I need to know some things nicca(s).

I'm on At&t and I need to know which phone to get.

Motorola Atrix 2 is the one I think I'm going to get right now.... Give me some advice on which phone to get and why.


I want that !! in a 3 prong folder and a cover sheet...

Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket. It's the LTE version of the gs2 the currently have. I don't know much about the atrix 2, but having a gs2, albeit with Tmobile, I highly recommend the gs2. The processor in the skyrocket is the same a the tmo version of the gs2, which allows you to get 4g speeds. call clarity its good. I've become a fan of Swype. The screen on it is beautiful. Once you root you can significantly reduce battery consumption.

And ice cream sandwich is coming to it.

If you don't want to wait for the Galaxy Nexus... I think the next best thing is definitely the SGS2 Skyrocket... comes with the LTE speeds and is very powerful and has good battery out of the box.

I don't really know anything about the Moto Atrix 2... but I'm[..]uming it's a good android handset with excellent battery life (what moto android phones are usually known for)

pass on the skyrocket....get the original galaxy s2 (i'm on at&t as well) original galaxy s2 chip is better than the one on skyrocket.best buy got em for $149. best phone i've ever owned

I was under the impression that the Motorola Atrix 2 was one of the better phones... I'm[..]uming I was wrong then. How good is it compared to the SG2?

I was having the same dilemma - Atrix 2 vs SG2

After reading a bunch or reviews for both the SG2 seems to win out hands down. So that's what I'm going with. I really only wanted the Atrix for the laptop dock, but I'll be damned if I pay $99 for the phone and $300 for an accessory.

When I went to the AT&T store to play with both, the Atrix 2 was a good phone but the SG2 just did it for me.

AT&T currently has the SG2 for $200 but the SG2 Skyrocket is $149 for a limited time so I might get that even though I'm not an an LTE area yet.

I heard the resolution is better on the SG2 vs the Sky Rocket because the screen is slightly smaller(4.3 vs 4.5 respectively). And the difference between the processors is up for debate right now.

I'd get a Galaxy Nexus or Galaxy S II.

If you don't mind not having a microSD card and want Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) now, get the Nexus.

If you need a microSD card and don't mind waiting for the Ice Cream Sandwich update, get the S II.

Personally, I would get the S II.
