| 30? damn son you suffering. With heavy use I'll do 25~30hrs. If its mostly sleeping with wifi off, not playing music or browsing i can get up to 50 hours. I'd hit the 40 hour mark with 20 ~ 15% left. Realistically I can last longer than 50 but I end up forcing a battery drain so I can charge it up so Im not phone-less at any point in the 3rd day. I have gone up to 3 days with no charge, but I didn't track the timer that day ... completely slipped my mind. | |

| samsung has never been about updates, i'm shocked googled commissioned them for the nexus s...which i might get gonna see if that evo clone drops on vzw first. my vibrant is basically bridging the gap between my blackberry (r.i.p. =/ ) and whatever htc device that's not on sprint, because sprint isn't all that great when i'm way out in the country visiting home...only in the city in new orleans, so i need verizon. i'm done waiting on samsung to update us, they're not going to. see behold II | |

| Epic 4g is getting froyo at Dec 26. The reason google commissioned them for the nexus S because Google is the one who is doing all the coding and releasing update for that phone. The only thing samsung supply is the hardware. Google does the rest. Behold 2 is a 1st gen hardware android device. No !! you will not see any update especially when the phone came out around the time the OG droid came out(the 1st 2nd gen android device). Add the fact that the phone sold like !! and flopped hard and saw nowhere near the success that the Galaxy s line saw. Really you notice HTC, and Moto abandon their low-end smart phones. You have to gimp severely gimp android 2.1 to make it run on the Behold 2 judging from other 1st gen hardware devices that currently run 2.1. The Galaxy S is samsung 1st high-end android device which is argubly have the best hardware until tegra 2 phones start dropping. Last edited by VictoryThagr8; 12-22-2010 at 07:58 AM.. | |

| My fascinate is the first phone I've rooted. I have rom manager on it now but I don't even know if there's a point of having it without odin. My computer is !!ed up so I haven't been able to get it yet but been doing some research. It seems like you only need it if you want to change to DJ05 or whatever but I just tried to do a nandroid backup (choosing the backup rom option in rom manager) and I don't think I can even do that without odin on my phone. I have metamorph too but scared to use any of that !! without odin can anyone tell me if I can do a nandroid backup without it or install a theme with metamorph without odin? I appreciate any help. | |

| gingerbread ... feels good man :) this is just the tech demo and its pretty slick. its basically a working model. in fact, it works so well google sent me an email thanking me for my registration of my nexus s ;) calls, wifi, text work perfectly. gps works but the camera doesn't. quite a few wrinkles to iron out, but not enough to stop it from being my main OS right now. I'll set up a Froyo dualboot so I can switch between OS fluidly. Im missing Swype hard [pic] | |

| After a while with it, the increased battery drain from the unoptimized kernel combined with some bugs really forced me to go back to Froyo so I can keep using my phone for work. This version isn't ready for me, but I love what I saw in terms of effects, speed and layout. Very pimp stuff! Until then, I'm back to something st@ble. | |
