Anyone got the Rezound? (Need Advice)

Went to Verizon store today playing around with new phones.

Im done with Blackberry im tired of waiting for them to come around plus no 4G phones which im not about to pay for an upgrade and not get 4g.

I played with the Razr Nexus & Rezound

I like them all but Razr locked bootloader... Not really feeling that I want to be able to root.

Nexus is cool but 300 just to have 4.0 OS.
and 5.0 megapixel camera is :|

but the Rezound screen quality was amazing actually better than the nexus with all the specs im looking for in the phone even tho its made by HTC and has the sense.

I know theres alot of custom Roms available without it and found out the the camera is one of the better ones out of all the verizon phones

Hows the battery life? Is it worth it to buy the extended?

Rooted + extended battery (the ones that don't make your phone bigger) for any HTC device now a days is a must (IMO)

I'd definitely roll with the Rezound

I have both. Rezound for media, Nexus for everything else. I use my nexus a whole lot more than my Rezound. Seems like more of the same HTC phones. Can't go wrong with either though.

Rezound is crack. wait until this !! gets ICS then Nexus wont be able to !! with it period.

im in the same boat. blackberry on verizon, tryin to switch to an up to date phone but since iv had blackberry im so lost in new technology.

You really only got a few options:
1) Get an iPhone (eventhough it's not 4G yet, Siri is the !! though)

2) Wait for Blackberry's new devices (Likely won't be 4G until end of the year. And lets face it, BB's OS is outdated technology, their App World or whatever is trash, the only good thing is BBM which other phones will be getting)

3) Get an Android device (Several different ways to go here, depends what you fancy. You'll want a 4G-capable phone any route you choose. I have a Rezound, and mine lasts throughout the day on light to moderate use. But there's really no bad way to go with the new 4G phones, just avoid the Bionic, T-Bolt or other 'older' 4G phones)

5) Wait for Windows Phones to start coming up on Verizon (not sure how long this may take)

I'd go with 1 or 4... truthfully I wouldn't get an iPhone without 4G but that's just me.
