Oct 15 - 15 year-old girl buys second home

PORT CHARLOTTE -

A Southwest Florida teenager, who made national headlines for buying her first home, just finished buying the second.

The new landlord on the block in Port Charlotte is 15-year-old Willow Tufano.

"I'm so glad that we finally have it," Tufano said.

She just bought a house on Gerard Court for $19,000 as an investment. Monday, they began remodeling.

This isn't new to Willow. This is the second house she's bought this year. The first was bought back in March and her hobby has landed her in the national spotlight.

Now, a team of independent producers are traveling with the family to film for a possible reality show.

"She's definitely a kid, but she also has a business side to her," said Willow's mom, Shannon Moore.

Moore said she is Willow's partner in the purchase. The teen puts up half the money, and pays mom back later. She says she made the money for the first house by selling items on eBay.

Since Willow's not old enough to own a house on her own, mom will put it in her name when she's 18.

Until then, she's learning the ropes about keeping the homes filled, dealing with tenants and the value of a dollar.

"She's pretty good with that, I wanted to buy a shed for the backyard and she's like, ‘No way, that's like $1,500. We're not going do that; scratch that off your list,'" Moore said.

The plan is to charge $800 for rent and she will use some of that money to pay for future homes.

She's also set a goal of buying 10 houses by the time she's 18, which sets her up for a career in real estate.

"I can do it. It sounds like it's not rational, but it's possible," Tufano said.

She says after the latest purchase is fixed up, it's off to look for house number three.

I live in a nice neighborhood out here but these young soldiers be on some other !!. When you hear about some !! happening around the way you be thinkin' its some civiilian muthafuhkas but NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

aint to many nice places out here so you should actually be able to set your rent pretty high for those soldiers that have fams and dont want them living in the trap aka fayetnam while they are away on duty.

Yeah. Im like in between Raeford and Fayetteville. Im about, I'd say 30-40 minutes from Ft.Bragg. My little development cool though. Mainly alotta old folks, few military families, mainly whites and hispanics. My crib in a ill[..] spot though. I have neighbors to the left and right of me, mad distance away from each other. No neighbors across the street. Got a nice lake across the street from my crib. Where the lake ends on both ends is where the other houses begin at. So imo the spot is perfect for people who wanna maintain their privacy, not have muthafuhkas all up in your face and !!. Its a nice spot. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths jacuzzi, garage. Nice long driveway. Big backyard. I met a dude who is still in and he owns a spot and rents it off whenever he gets deployed! [pic]Cakin!

ohhh i was thinking you were right by fort bragg, thats why i was saying there is no way you in a nice neighborhood. !! that sounds nice and laid back. Not sure if that distance will help or hurt your rent value. Some may think its to far to drive back and forth but some may love that they can get away and know the fam is safe. Sounds legit tho.

Yeah its nice. I see a few guys from 82nd steppin' out a few cribs in the morning when I take off for work. I dont see why noone would want this spot though to rent out. Sheeeeeit, I live alone. So its not like theres a family in here fuhkin' !! up all day. lol And been working on the crib. Kitchen. Redid the bathrooms and !!. Had my man come down from BK to redo the carpeting. Cant wait to see how this goes cause I dont need to be living here by myself. Id like to see a nice family rent this out and enjoy it.
And nah. My time was up in 2009. Got my honorable like last year. I was in the Army 8 years.

this is the type of !! that you dumb!!s should be decrying...

America is upside down... so much so that you have !!ing 15 yr old's buying multiple properties and massive amounts of working poor adults being kicked out of theirs...

I mean, essentially all she knows how to do is buy run down property and try to fix it up and then charge an obscene amount in rent or sell it for twice what she bought it for... that to me, doesn't really command a huge amount of intelligence..
