Yeah I know that, but from the Muslims I know (granted only about 5-6 ages ranging from 23-30) aren't gonna vote for people who demonize their religion. You're right though, because a few of them have said if the right wasn't so hostile towards them they could prob get them to be Republican Voters. Since they share some views on certain things.

if you abide by islamic principles (the true principles) i dont see why america is worried (yeah, 9/11...i know)

i'm muslim and whats kept my head from buying into the hype is that im educated about the religion and i know that at the base of what i learned, these terrorists dont represent true islam. the word islam itself means "peace/surrender" and muslim is one who submits/peaceful/surrenders, let alone for the actual philosophies.

i aint tryna convince people to become muslim, but before ppl criticize it, they should learn about it (not from the media and not from the crazy guy in the barber shop who comes around tryna sell bean pies, black soap, and kufis) and see if they agree with the core principles.

its only in the root of this type of awareness that we will find tolerance and true peace, but the media has such a stranglehold on sending out this message of muslims being a race of people with hate in their hearts, when we're taught to be the opposite.

who knows? maybe i'm biased too...but if anyone is reading this, learn about us first and then criticize if you like.

and yes, in this day and age i believe in a higher power, i dont follow the agnostic/atheist philosophies because it doesnt have the answers that i need as a man and a human being, it just so happens islam provides this, had catholicism satisfied my questions about life, etc...i wouldve been a catholic

there's too much ignorance in the world, its so funny how we're a global economy with so many different ways of seeing whats going on around the world and how multicultural our societies are that we're still so ignorant (me included)

and muslims need to do a better job of reflecting islam in their daily lives and showing the average guy who tunes into fox news or w/e that we're not what we're made out to be.

Naw I'm straight. Keep your religion. Can care less what you believe in and your thoughts. Your religion makes you no better than any other religion. Just believe in what you believe in and move on. What gets me is all these people walking around all religious and stuff. But to dumb to realize that each Torah, bible, Koran or whatever book there religion has. Says to pray and have faith and love each other. So how can each religion be so different when each book is telling you the same?

Easy it's called Mankind. We strive to be so different we look at everything with different point of views. I can promise you when u make it to heaven or whatever you believe in. There will be no line for Jews, Christians, Muslims or any other religion. We all the same until mankind can recognize that we will forever be at war with each other. So I say but your religion down and talk and know your neighbor for who they are not what they believe in.

If all these regilion are so peaceful why can't each one stand in the same building and pray together? That's being peaceful.
