May 14 - Mobb Deep:"Got Rich And Stopped Trying"

No, fake talk. Mobb Deep has put out 3 classics. So what if they, at this point in their career, wanna sell some records. That's not selling out, that's wanting to finally get paid for years of putting out good music. If you were a real fan or even a rational person you'd understand where they're comin from. And they were trying to sell more records, or "go comercial" as you put it, 3 albums ago. Way before they ever met 50.



Streets disciple is almost unlistenable Production sounds like nails on a chalk board. Black album was extremely average, what was so damn good about it? God's son=average.

All these anti-mobb deep threads and posts makes it obvious people are just plain out haters. The whole New York rap scene is average at best right now, yet when Mobb Deep drops an average 3 mic album...they're "done for." Give me a break. Fact of the matter is nobody would give a !! if Mobb Deep dropped a 5 mic or 1 mic album if they never signed to G-Unit...but since they did, and everybody and their grandma hates G-Unit because it's the "cool" thing to do...everybody's talkin !!. I listened to the entire CD, and it's not half as bad as people make it out to be. Watch every nerd on Boxden go and buy every little brother cd cuz of what this clown said.[pic]
