Jun 28 - 8 tons of marijuana confiscated largest pot seizures ever in Chicago

Local and federal authorities Tuesday night confiscated about 8 tons of marijuana in what is believed to be one of the largest pot seizures ever in Chicago, sources said.

The seizure of roughly 16,000 pounds of marijuana came a day before the Chicago City Council passed a city ordinance that decriminalizes small amounts of the drug.

The pot seizure was made through a collaborative investigation of the Chicago Police Department and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. Further details, including where the confiscation took place, were not available.

A news conference on the seizure is set for Thursday.

Thats not always true guys. Granted that Yes, since this 8 tons, and it was confiscated in Chicago, it probably is mostly that Shwag, but thats not always the case. It could be some 80% Shwag, 20% good.

BULK IS BULK, you gotta pack it and ship it some how. Coke, Weed, Heroin, pills, etc all usually come in some sort of "brick" form in order for transport of large quantities over a great distance. You usually see pounds of good in zips AFTER it has been transported and broken up...unless you getting it straight from the grower like dispensaries do....
