You seem to have ignored my answer, but let's move on to another issue, which is even if it was a choice, why would that affect whether or not they deserve rights? People choose to be Catholic, does that mean they don't need rights?

I really don't think this issue of whether it's a choice or not is even relevant. People are allowed to make choices and still have their rights protected as long as those choices don't harm others (this is why people don't have the right to molest children, by the way).
