Jul 25 - 3.7 quake strikes near Marina del Rey and felt in downtown L.A.

A shallow magnitude 3.7 earthquake was reported Wednesday morning two miles from Marina del Rey , according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 3:18 a.m. Pacific time at a depth of 5.6 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was three miles from Culver City , four miles from El Segundo , five miles from Inglewood and 12 miles from Los Angeles Civic Center.

In the past ten days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
