Jul 17 - Granny brought boy on crack run

A Long Island grandmother is under arrest for bringing her 5-year-old grandson on a crack-shopping trip, police said.

Suffolk County Police said when they pulled over Lonzetta Van Duyne, 44, in North Bellport Friday night for vehicle and traffic law violations, they found crack cocaine in the car.

Van Duyne, of Mastic, L.I., was charged with drug possession and endangering the welfare of a child.
