Wendy's Japan adds three lobster entrees to its Premium menu to celebrate its second Japanese location in Tokyo's Roppongi Hills complex, opening August 17.

If you're in Japan, you might want to turn to Wendy's for an elegant meal - an elegant fast-food meal that is.

Wendy's in Japan strives to be a little more sophisticated than Wendy's stateside. Whereas the U.S. has the artery-clogging Baconator, Japan has a slightly classier roster of dishes, for those not satisfied with the standard burger and French fries. This month, Wendy's Japan will add three meals with lobster to its Premium menu: the Lobster and Caviar Burger, The Surf and Turf Burger and the Ocean Premium Salad.

The Lobster and Caviar Burger has lobster chunks, lobster salad and caviar. The Surf and Turf Burger features lobster and red onion. The Ocean Premium Salad has lobster, caviar, avocado, vegetables and an egg.

But the relative refinement doesn't come cheap, by fast-food standards. Each seafood addition will range from $16 to $20.

The current Japan Premium lineup features the Porcini Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the Foie Gras Rossini. The lobster should fit in nicely beside the mushroom and fattened goose liver meals.

Wendy's left Japan in 2009 but started up again in late-2011, according to Burger Business. For its returned, Wendy's reassessed its game plan and decided to situate itself as classier fast food.

Wendy's is opening its second Japanese location on August 17 in Tokyo's Roppongi Hills complex, reports Serious Eats. The company is adding these seafood entrees to its menu to celebrate.

Wendy's Japan will give free tote bags to its first 500 customers, according to Gawker.
