Linda Vanderlinden was st@bbed to [rip] with her two children in her home. Her husband, Michael Vanderlinden, had earlier been k#lled in a car wreck.

Police found a woman and two young boys st@bbed to [rip] inside a Michigan home on Thursday, hours after their father died in a fiery wrong-way crash, authorities said.

Michael Vanderlinden, 38, was driving the wrong-way on Interstate 94 near Michigan City, Ind., when he struck an oncoming car, k#lling driver Juan Nelson Jr., 45, of Portage, Ind., police said.

Both bodies involved in the collision near Michigan City were burned beyond recognition, LaPorte County Coroner John Sullivan told the Northwest Times.
"It was the worst one I've seen in recent history," Sullivan said.

Police went to Vanderlinden's home in Belleville Mich., near Detroit, to inform his family of the accident when they found a woman and two boys ages 4 and 7, st@bbed to [rip], police said. The door to the house was ajar and the boys were found in beds, the Chicago Tribune reported.

MYSTERIOUS WRONG-WAY CRASH: Michael Vanderlinden drove the wrong way and crashed into a car driven by Juan Nelson. Both drivers died and were burned beyond recognition. When police went to Vanderinden’s home to tell his family the tragic news they found a woman, presumably his wife, linda and his two young sons st@bbed to [rip] — and the front door was ajar.

Public records show the house belonged to Vanderlinden and his wife Linda Vanderlinden, 34.

Van Buren Township Police Capt. Gregory Laurain said there was no sign of robbery.

"The big question is, 'who is behind this?' "Laurain told the Detroit Free Press. "That's hard to answer right now because of the circumstances."

Laurain said there was no police history at the house, except for an animal control call and a medical[..]istance call.

Investigators at the Indiana crash site were expected to comb through what remains of the charred vehicles looking for more answers.

it's a possibility. But on the first initial reports everyone acts like they know for a fact what happened.

Maybe dude was being chased and he was trying to get away? Someone could have been after him and his family.

What if.he knew.something he wasnt supposed to?

thats what im saying...no one ever owes someone money or is on drugs, etc....there are many things that could have happened. Could he have k#lled them? Sure. But i havent seen any definite evidence that he did it yet. So until then.....

He drove in the wrong lane in an interstate of all things and k#lled an innocent person. So explain that. I don't care if he was getting chase He still put others in way more danger by driving the wrong way in the interstate.

!! bro, for all we know he could have been racing to get to his family because he knew something was wrong! It never said which way he was going or intended to go, just that he was driving on the wrong side of the road.

I'm not saying it's not possible that he k#lled his family I'm saying that we won't know until the facts come out. Chill and let the detectives do their jobs. [pic]
