A fast acting 22-year-old has been hailed a hero after she lifted up a car weighing a ton and a half to save her father, who became crushed under his BMW 525i.Lauren Kornacki swept in to save her father, Alec, when a jack slipped as he worked under the car on July 29, at the family’s home in Glen Allen, Virginia.
Lauren, a recent University of Mary Washington grad, happened to be on her way out the door when she saw her father pinned under his luxury car. Family hero: Alec Kornacki narrowly escaped [rip] when his daughter, Lauren, lifted up the BMW that had fallen on him

It flashed like, 'I'm going to lose my dad. His eyes were open; he wasn't responding to me. I knew I had to get his heart beating again, and I had to get him breathing,’ Lauren, who was trained in CPR from her job as a lifeguard, told local TV news station, WWBT.Safety first: Lauren Kornacki credits her CPR training as a lifeguard with knowing how to revive her father Desperate to keep her father alive, she performed CPR.
'You can't leave me,' Lauren said she told him, 'Just stay with me. Keep breathing.'
'If it weren't for Lauren I would not be alive today'
Alec Kornacki was without oxygen and a heartbeat for less than five minutes during the harrowing incident. He was hospitalized and remains in ICU, with injuries that include several broken ribs, some numbness and other fractures but is expected to recover.'I'm just so lucky and proud that I have daughters that can perform CPR and have the knowledge to save lives,' the proud father said in a statement. 'I think it's an important skill for everyone to know and if it weren't for Lauren I would not be alive today,' he added.
The Kornackis have three daughters, all of whom have been trained in CPR.

did she just lift to where the two of the wheels were off the ground, or just so that the car wasnt crushing him but still all the heels were on the ground??
