Might be selling for $1,200.
Might be selling my desktop for $1,200 to get me a 360 and/or ps3. Hell, all the new games require too much out of a pc system and nobody has the money to fork out for an expensive gaming rig to hold them. Here's the specs

2008 Alienware Area-51 7500-R5.
4GB of GDDR3 Ram.
nVidia GeForce 8600 GTS.
nVidia GeForce 6200.
1 TB IDE HDD.
Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.66 GHz (Non-OC'd. Prob. can OC to 4 GHz easily)
Heatsink that allows the cpu to get no higher then 34C.
8 USB ports. HDMI output. 2 S-Video ports.
Dual DVD/RW+ drives.
nForce 680i SLI EVGA Motherboard.
Wireless Logitech USB mouse and keyboard.
I think an 850 Watt PSU.
24" Flat Screen LCD Samsung SyncMaster 245BW Monitor.

I, personally, think it's well worth the $1,200 with everything included. Again, I don't KNOW if I'm going to sell it. I'm just thinking about it.

Meh. Then I guess I paid what it's worth @ $600. But the monitor itself is 300...so that's like getting an alienware for $300..oh well. I'll keep it

its hard to resell computer parts/computers and get a high resale value for it... i was goin to sell my computer for the same price u put it up for, and it had way better specs, Core 2 Quad @ 3.4ghz, liquid cooled cpu & gpu... gtx 275 ftw edition, evga 780i, 4gigs ram, 1.7tb of hard drive space, cooler master haf case and i didnt even get any response... most people build their own computers and u will only get at most 65% of what u paid for it

Not my model. Mine is like 350, minimum. from where I've looked. I'm just gonna keep my system and upgrade it . I finally found out I could overclock it so we're good.

LOL u barely found out ?? let me guess, u have an E7200 ? also, why do u have DDR3 ram when ur motherboard is only optimized for DDR2 ?

It might only be DDR2. Something on this computer has GDDR3 ram though. Nah, I have an E8200. It's stock clocked @ 2.66 GHz. I've not been big into overclocking and I heard some dude say that Alienwares are hard, if not impossible to OC.

CPU... ahhhh e8200... that should be easy to overclock on the current board u have... ur going to have to mess with the cpu vcore voltages to get it to run stable if u get a blue screen after u overclock... as far as GDDR3, its referring to ur video card

For real? Thanks man!. You mind helping me overclock this thing? I just want about 3 GHz out of it and that's it. It's cool if you don't want to, I just don't know how to and figured it'd be quicker to ask then to go look around haha.
