Best PC FPS?

Looking to get back into this last time I played a pc was in college and it was Wolfenstein.

Recommend me something please.

Right now its easily between Team Fortress 2 or Call of Duty 4 for me. Honorable mentions that still get play time from me are Counter Strike/Day of Defeat Source and BF2.

What are your hardware specs?

So Europe and NA are separate right, it says on the page if you are from Europe click this, I got ahead and do it.


It says these are a list of mirrors for the European version I download it, install it and all the !!ing patches try log in and play the !! and get an error which after googling is an error to say my IP is not right for the version.



IDIOTIC COMPANY I CLICK A LINK WHICH SAYS EUROPEAN ON IT AND ITS THE AMERICAN VERSION.

So I wasted my time.

Well if it is THAT good, you should try a game called Crysis, graphics are out of this world!

Word get the Valve Source Multiplayer pack and get Counter Strike and Day of Defeat Source along with HL2: [rip]match and then choose between Team Fortress 2 or CoD4.

My favorites right now are CoD4 and TF2. If you only have money for one game, get TF2!

I used to !! hard with America's Army like 2 or 3 years ago until my PC couldn't handle it anymore and I don't think my laptop could with no dedicated video card

it's free so you might as well give it a try...it's an objective based military game...none of that running around k!lling people for no reason !! which is what I hate about a lot of fps'

If you got Half-Life, download the mod Natural Selection. NS combines FPS with RTS.

I still play CS:source from steam. I fire it up when I have a meal to put down. More entertaining blasting people than eating and watching TV :bigok:

Singleplayer = Crysis, Crysis Warhead, Stalker, ARMA2 (the most realistic shooter of all time)

Online = Team Fortress2, Call Of DUty4/WAW, Counterstrike Source, ARMA2 (200 player matches are nuts) and Left4Dead.

My favorite right now though = ARMA2 and Crysis for singleplayer and TF2 and Counterstrike Source for online.

IMO TF2 and Counterstreike Source are still the best online games atm, much better then COD games or Halo games imo, but thats just me!

Also dont sleep on ARMA2 if you comp can run it! Its crazy underrated and is the best military/realistic shooter ever. Think of Call of Duty, except realistic and a HUGE world like twice the size of GTA games, except in a military shooter. !! is crack!
