Anybody else having problems with 5.5 gen b2?

I upgraded yesterday so I could play the newest games. I downloaded FIFA 10 and it works perfectly. So then I downloaded Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and my psp shuts off at the copyright screen. I also downloaded NBA 2K10 and Madden 10 and both of those only show up as corrupted files. Anybody else have any problems like these?

Thats why Im stickin at M33-6. But Im thinking maybe its ur settings it should work on 5.5 gen b2. Cuz 2k works for me on M33. check pspiso to see how they are doing it.

yeah. I found a tutorial on how to code the isos so they work so it's all good now. 2K kept freezing on me though so I'll try it again today

At your XMB, Press select and make sure your ISO MODE is on M33 Driver. I downloaded NBA 2K10 last night, then I decrypted it and it worked fine for me. Madden 10 also worked *I wish they would put all the games in iso or cso*

yo,what program are you using to decrypt your files? I'm using the Yushihiro !! or whatever it's called. It couldn't decrypt the eboot files from the SYSDIR folder. But when I took the eboot file from the UPDATE folder it could decrypt that. But then all my games starting freezing and now they'll freeze on me anywhere between 10 seconds and 5 minutes into a game.

I'm using the yoshihiro too. I usually do the EBOOT from the UPDATE folder as well. SYSDIR is bull!! when trying to decrypt, it never works. Once you decrypt, do you save the file as an .iso? and then put that .iso (it'll be a zipped folder) into the ISO folder in your psp root folder.

yeah. I found out it's 'cause I have a fake memory stick. Last time I buy a cheap[..] memory stick from any Chinese nicca on ebay. [pic]

Lol!. I would send you mine but I need it. If you go get a regular mem. stick, and want it to be a magic one, you can send me your psp (I seriously doubt you'd trust me with it). But I already have the pandora battery from when I made mine an MMS. I'd do it for free if you'd like, just to save you the hassle. Or you can get it done or do it yourself (don't recommend doing it yourself if you don't have an extra battery, I was w/o one for about 5-6 months because of it lol). But if you have a good battery, you can buy a pandora battery off the net and then do the rest yourself :).

lol. It's all good. I've gone through all the steps before. I had an authentic 8 GB one before but I accidentally dropped it in the rain and it got k!lled. I was pissed that day 'cause I had like 12 games on there and just lost everything. thanks though

Yeah, I would have been a little pissed if that happened to me. I've only got a 2 GB stick so At most it holds like 3 small games. or 2 medium's or 1 large (Which I'm sure you knew that). So if I want to play a large game. I have to take the other ones off and then put it on there. Big hassle. How much did you pay for your 8 GIG stick, you remember?

I got it on ebay for like 45 bucks I think. Could be wrong.

decrypt the eboot file from the original iso, patch it to the new iso, and then should work

U can get a 8 GB for like 30 dollars now at BB. Its worth it knowing it works.

I was on 5.00 mm3-3 but updated to Gen-D2 last night...I hope I don't regret the decision, right now everything seems ok though...
