I am running off HDMI.....but....
i was thinking about switching to Fiber Optic cable to play the PS3....

just wondering if any of you were running off Fiber and if there was a big difference of clarity or no big difference at all?????

ok coo..... i was reading the reviews on another sitet and it didnt state if it was for audio and video or one specific one but thanx...... does it make a big difference in sound cause i have a sound bar and woofer now....

Fiber Optic service= Verizon's version of Cable, the actual cable used is called "Fiber Optic" so Verizon sells their version with that name.

It's pretty good for sound, but you get better sound quality through HDMI. Some audio receivers don't have HDMI in. I think it's possible to use fiber optics for sound and then use HDMI or component for video.

if u have a sound system just use both but use HDMI for video and fiber optic for audio its a win win
