yeah i have liteon, but with 1.51... i just don't play any games before their release dates. i know mine is older than aug 09, so i was just curious if i can upgrade to 1.61 or whats up... i've always been able to update to 1.60, but didnt want to use the activate disc.

the way it's going, though, is there may not be a liteon 1.61 update... so my only way to play wave 4 games is to get the 1.60 with activate, right?

also is activate detectable for games that i only play after release date?

I don't think anythings safe if you play it before the release date.I'm going to play my rrod copy of MW2 after the release date and its verified.

nah i haven't i popped in this morning saying im still not banned... i have been on live but i haven't played the mp of mw2 tho.. and i have played every rip so far besides the atom rip.. i think me an afekz are on the white list

i told my good friend about modding, got him to mod his hitachi, burned and tested EVERY GAME he's played.. he got banned today. i'm on a ben-q w/ 1.6. obviously he had 1.5..

just now i was in a party about to play halo 3, i would press play game and get disconnected from XBL. then when i went back to the dashboard it would reconnect. it did this a few times before it eventually worked.

things are not looking good for me.

Ya'll need to learn not to play these super big releases until release date. Like, I know some people think they are whitelisted (I believe I am also), but I still wouldnt play it until the release date. Big games like Forza 3, any call of duty, GoW, Madden. Big games. Just don't do it lol

People are getting banned from all kinds of releases of all kinds of games. I don't think people realize that these stealth patches and s**t ain't as fool proof as they think.

Like I said, a billion dollar corporation that's quiet about their banning vs. a group of people who know how to toy with some security and release their s**t to the public for any and everyone to get...who do you really think has the upper hand when it comes to banning?
