Next XBL Update Date Confirmed

So I got an email from Microsoft stating that the new update with Facebook, Last.FM, Twitter, and Zune HD capatablity will be released this Tuesday the 17.

I'm not going to lie, I'm psyched about it but I'm wondering how long will it last before I have hear about adolescent kids taking over XBL (Not that it hasnt already happen, but god forbid it should get worse) soley for the purpose of facebook and twitter.

Any other concerns? or hopeful wishes?

I'd love to see a full web browser release sometime in the future but I hardy think that'll happen. I'm giddy (yes I said giddy) about being able to use facebook on XBL but it sucks that Im limited to just that and twitter.

It would be nice to able to check for new threads and s**t on Boxden from XBL.

So whats yall take on the situation?

Lookin forward to being able to use facebook on 360 from then on, but dont use twitter or last.fm whatever that is

Facebook and Twitter is ok on XBL. I've been using them on there when I got accepted into the Preview Program. Only thing I dont like about Facebook is you cant see you or your friends wall

Even if they did (which they won't) it's call business. If people are willing to pay, then you charge. Grow the f**k up kiddo.

the only reason i like the update is because you can take in-game screenshots and share them via fb and twitter, you can see which of your fb friends are on xbox live and the last.fm stuff should be nice. but really when i wanna use twitter or facebook i'll hop on there on the computer. i never stay on those sites for too long anyways

the SS to FB thing only works on games that have SS features right? if thats the case those can be saved on PC via site it saved it on anyways..

Yo i was in the preview program and i must say i like that last fm. Twitter is nice too havent tried facebook or zune. Andddd the msnbc is crack also.

Call it what you want but Microsoft is notorious for screwing over its loyal customers.

I have no problem with "business" as you would put it, but I have a huge problem when a game is develped s**tty and ten you charge me for the dlc that would almost make it worth the $60 spent on buying the f**king game.

You want to charge me for a whole nother map pack for a game? Fine, by why the f**k am I being charged for a story mode add on, multiplayer game mode, or gun pack that should've came with the game in the first place?

Why do I have to pay $60 for UFC and then still have to buy the characters to play with?

Why does it cost $10 a month for netflix and yet I still have to pay for certain videos and movies from XBL seperately (because netflix doesnt really have any new movies that you can instant que or een music videos) when Microsoft already gets a cut of the profits from my netflix account.

They're profiteers above all else. I can understand its up to developers to produce a complete and worthy of purchase game, but why does Microsoft have to make a profit almost everytime developers try to fix te flaws in their products?
