Just got a Slim 360 - How do I transfer stuff onto the 250 GB hd?

I haven't had a 360 in about 2 yrs so do I need a specific cable or something to buy to hook it up and move stuff over to it?

I have the one from the other 360 but i dont get how to hook it up cause the HD is different. Do I have to get a new transfer cable?

trying to figure out how to hook it up to my comp to transfer music/movies etc onto it or if there's another way to do it

Able to store music yes, movies don't think so.
