PLEASE DISCUSS TONIGHT"S f!ght HERE AND PLACE PREDICTIONS AND THOUGHTS
The truth is that Schaub's skill set is extremely limited. He's a former college football player who relies on raw power and athleticism to overwhelm his opponents. Not that he's not working hard or training with a good camp, but the reality is that he's reliant on his powerful right hand, considerable recuperative abilities and quickness. However Nogueira has an incredible ground game and good enough boxing(cuban National) to keep up with Schaub's Golden Glove boxing skills. Either way this is going to end in a knockout or submission.
-Brendan Schaub vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira: I don’t want to count “Big Nog” out of this f!ght, but I’m a realist first and an optimist second. Schaub has looked unstoppable since his loss to Roy Nelson, and he’s climbing the ranks very fast thanks to a smart mix of athleticism, speed, and serious punching power. The only way Nogueira wins this one is if he’s able to snatch up a submission in Round 1. All other outcomes end with Nogueira eating a hook and going down. My official prediction is that Brendan Schaub wins by TKO in Round 3.
