Lighting & Backdrop Questions...

Have and of you guys taken a look on eBay at the complete studio lighting sets? They come with 3 backdrops, stand, and four continuous umbrella lights.

Do you think they are worth it? And if anyone owns a home studio setup could u go over the pros and cons?

What I ended up doing is buying all the lighting in sections

first thing i bought was a speedlight, then I got two really big 2500 watt softboxes followed by 2 strobes with two umbrellas 1 big and 1 small both reversible white and black, and three cactus v5 wireless triggers (which have been amazing not a single misfire out of 10 model shoots so far and all kinds of miscellaneous shooting I highly recommend them) and the last thing i ended up buying a few weeks ago was a 16 inch beauty dish with a honeycomb (which i got off ebay).

You don't need to do it like that but from research i discovered if you get it all at once you might end up with alot of junk and maybe one or two useful things that last. I have only shot with the beauty dish once and that was just screwing around but it was very useful creating dramatic effects in the shots and makes a big difference with the portrait photos.
