| Indoor studio help? |
| By Gmengfx - 08-03-2011, 02:32 PM - Boxden > Digital Photos im loosing to many clients to my rival due to..he has a indoor studio set up. so im working on that now. I know what im going to get as for the backdrops. Found a good . black/white/stand/lights for around $160.00 so im going to get that. But im stumped on how to get colored lights. When i had a photo shoot years back, with my "rival" my memory is kinda blurry on this but i remember him having these lights. the one i was infront of a black backdrop. And he had gold lights so it was like black and gold. he also had green/blue w/e. So how do i go about getting those. like i tried typing in everything and nothing shows up. So i used boxden as a last resort. ![]() |

| If you got a studio invest in autopoles. Makes life easy......Like PDA said gels/ translucent paper is what will tint your light........... There's no right answer for whats the best. What fits your budget???? I wouldn't waste my money on those Amazon lights you posted. I like elinchrom and alienbees. Can't go wrong with either. | |

| invest in a strobe and a barn door with gels kit, or if you can find some colored translucent paper, mount a speedlight on a tripod and tape the paper over it and set your light to slave. | |
