Last shot is a little too over-exposed for my liking but the rest look nice. What's your equipment?

Don't know if I can take your serious or not, but I tell my camera what to do and also use post processing in photoshop. Btw i'm teaching a photography class later this month. I kinda take your post as a insult to me as a photography, but its all good . The one you said you overexposed was done by me on purpose to get the night color on my subject. Black & white is different on black people compared to white.

wasnt meant as an insult I was jus sayin u have some nice equipment but they looked like typical shots with a prime lens...

and as far as the black & white pic...i understand what u did but u exposed correctly for her but not for the bg and part of her dress...u lose the detail in the wood and its so bright its distracting

i didnt come in here to bash or with ill intent jus tryin to offer some constructive criticism sorry if i came off as that way

you should have masked some of the wood texture back in. woulda took 10 seconds.

while the shots are technically good, they look too stock photo/commercial for my liking.

you've definitely improved but im not seeing anything artistic about them that moves me.

nah its cool and I agree with you with the exposure, I should have masked it to just fix her skin without taking anything from the dress etc. Thanks for the info and I will put those tips into work the next time I run into problems.
