With the lower Fstop you will get a fast tight sharp image but at the expense of having everything out of focus in the background so you should chose a better spot to focus on with your subjects. If you are shooting a model always hit the spot right between the eyes. When you raise the Fstop you need more light, if you shoot alot in a studio I would invest in a beauty dish and a good speedlight (or two). Don't stress it you can get good images out of any camera you'll get better images the more you take there is no shortcut sorry fam Just curious what type of camera are you using?? | ||

| I like the shot I would have slowed down the shutter speed just a little bit to get more light on his face or bumped it up in photoshop. My only beef with the picture is that the pole is too big and it takes too much away from your subject. Make sure when you frame your shot that it is obvious exactly what you should be looking at. I would have probably rotated the camera and shot it vertically and panned the pole slighty out of frame so he is more in the center of the shot but you could do all that in photoshop so that isn't a big deal like this its pretty simple. [pic] Also be very careful when you shoot with that fstop the pole is in focus and the subject is a little bit behind your depth of field. | |
