sick dude... minor mistakes: the shading on the nose looks a little flat, and the right eye is a little crooked, wrinkles on the forehead are too dark, and hand looks HUGE.. other than that hair looks sick, and shading on everything else is on point

good work

yeah, those are the mistakes i realized, if anything i think the right eye should be tilted down more. i fixed the hand slightly, thanks for the critique.

The eyes are at the wrong angle, and the right eye is too large.

also, you have nothing showing the plane change between the front and the side of the face. there should be a change in tone/shading following the line going around the eye socket and down the cheekbone...think of the head as a box, that line is the separation of two planes, and really makes the head look more dimensional.

the hand is a bit large, but i dont think its a big deal because of the foreshortening that would be happening at that angle.

and the hair is done real well.

lol thats how i imagine a face usually, That picture makes it look like a pastel painting, the actual thing on paper has alot more differences in shading like the ones you mentioned but yeah ill fine tune it because theres only a SLIGHT change of shading on the side.

Thanks man i appreciate it.

looks like it was rushed... similar mistakes to the first: shading on nose is flat, and i think you need more of a transition from the real dark areas to the light ones.. eg, the hat and neck

good work regardless

This one was a little rushed...i wasnt as driven to make the dark areas SOLID black like the previous. My camera blands the transitions from light to dark. im working on how to give the shading on the noses more definition, Thanks.

study the shape of the nose. and start by drawing symple shapes, and practicing realistic shading. by simple shape, i mean, draw a doorstop/wedge like shape. dont bother making it look like a nose, just draw and shade the basic geometric shape. do that a couple times, add a sphere to the wider end of that shape, and practice that.

then do studys, draw nothing but noses. 10 or so on a page, just draw them

practice makes perfect.
