Jan 7 - Can't View Streaming Video

Everytime i go to a site with streaming video that uses Windows Media Player It doesn't work then i click error details and it says:
"Windows Media Player Could Not Play The Requested File Please Right Click And Select Error Details"

So i tried to select error details again but the option became inactive

First off do you have any kind of router or firewall blocking those ports?

WMP > Tools > Options > Network > You can set it to use certain ports etc.

And also make sure those check boxes on the left are checked.

^^agreed, alot of universities and businesses block streaming video with their firewall, are you on a home comp?
