Damn back in SC 12hr would keep ya head above water and you'd be pretty comfortable but that's cause the cost of living is cheaper.

I'd say if you wanna make a better living for yourself I would say go to one if those ITT schools.

I would get your GED, learn how to manage your money properly, and try to go to a online school or something after GED or go to school for something like HVAC (dudes make bread like 80k a year (obviously with a lot of experience and being a manager or lead tech) sometimes). I recently had a friend in same situation, he committed to doing better and now he is making like 45k starting as a HVAC Technician.

What are you good at or know a lot about? Start a consulting business where people pay you for your knowledge

Just get a game plan together. Ask your self what your skills are? What are your strengths? What are your wife's strengths? Write them down. What do you have a passion for? Be Realistic. Where are you now? financially, mentally, skillset. Where would you like to be in "x" amount of years. Set small realistic goals that you know you can achieve if you apply yourself. Ask yourself are you doing enough networking, is your resume on point? You can do it man!! Just need to stay focused. Don't let that Warehouse b.s. get you down. You have to tell yourself if you can make it under these conditions you can make it anywhere!
