Other have mentioned the other major job sites: Indeed, SimplyHired, and Monster. All legit. Be sure to spread a general resume throughout those job sites. The more experience you have, the more companies will call YOU about positions they need to fill.

Craigslist though has easily been the best online site where I hit some interviews with some small, but top-notched engineering firms.

Easy, yes. But horrible pay at the lower level.
For entry level and find a high paying great job on craigslist does happen, but just not that much. You could find one or two every few weeks.

Call places sometimes it's a matter of showing them your interested. A lot of times it'll at the very least get you the initial interview.

i've applied to so many jobs on Craigslist and have only gotten 1 call back. try temp agencies or indeed.com

I would always get call backs for the craigslist ones that day or next. It is usually the quickest way, but yields shaky results. Usually getting underpaid to do a lot of #### at a small a$s company.

I think you should go to indeed.com apply for all you can then go to craigslist work that combination for a few days. Then worse case jump on a temp agency.
